About Seva Samajik Vikas Sanstha

Our Organization

Seva Samajik Vikas Sanstha, affectionately known as SEVA, is a registered non-profit organization operating under the Society Registration Act of 1860. Established in 2016, we are headquartered in Satara, Maharashtra.

Our mission is to empower underprivileged youth, women, and communities by providing them with skill education, vocational training, and employment opportunities.

Operational Reach

We actively operate in four districts of Maharashtra: Satara, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, and Sindhudurg. Through our training centers and outreach programs, we ensure that youth and women from marginalized communities in these regions have access to career-oriented education, skill-building programs, and livelihood support services.

Our Affiliations

We are an official Training Partner (TP ID: TP015370) under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). We provide certified vocational education across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Retail, Beauty & Wellness, Tourism & Hospitality, Agriculture, and Media & Entertainment.

The Main Objectives of the Organization

To conduct basic as well as applied research on social development and community welfare related issues.

To take up evaluation of various schemes aimed at community development, youth empowerment, and social welfare.

To impart relevant training to different levels of personnel and community members in skill development and capacity building.

To provide competence building opportunities to underprivileged youth, women, and marginalized communities.

To develop and maintain knowledge base related to social development, skill training, and community empowerment.

To preserve and propagate the culture, heritage, and traditions of local communities while promoting modern education and skills.

To disseminate information about social development programs, skill training opportunities, and indigenous knowledge systems.

Our Programs and Initiatives

Youth Leadership Training

SEVA conducts comprehensive Youth Leadership Training Programmes designed to develop leadership skills, enhance employability, and foster community engagement among young people from underserved areas. Our programs focus on creating pathways for youth to access careers in both public and private sectors.

Resource Center & Library

The organization maintains a well-equipped resource center with extensive educational materials covering subjects such as Social Development, Community Welfare, Economics, Law, Computer Science, and general knowledge resources. Our library includes resources for competitive examinations, skill development, and career guidance.

Education & Competitive Exam Coaching

Professional Coaching Programs

SEVA invites and partners with Professional Coaching Institutes to provide non-residential coaching for competitive examinations including MPSC (State Services), Banking, Railway, Police, and other government sector examinations. Our coaching programs are specifically designed for candidates from target groups including underprivileged youth, women, and marginalized communities across Maharashtra.

We ensure that students from remote and underserved areas have access to quality study materials, structured preparation support, and career guidance services. Our programs promote awareness about various career opportunities and help bridge the gap between aspirations and achievements.

Nodal Organization

SEVA operates as a nodal organization for coordinating various social development initiatives. We work in close collaboration with government departments, educational institutions, and other non-profit organizations to standardize and implement development schemes effectively.
